In 2013, with the help of an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, I pulled neighbors and local writers together to create and celebrate a little free library just for poetry. It’s at 39th Avenue and East Lake Street in Minneapolis, outside of Milkweed café. This is a place to leave poetry you’re ready to share, and to find poetry you’ll love.
You can always leave poetry donations in the library. If you want to donate a stack (box, truckload) of books that’s too large to fit in the library all at once, email me and we’ll figure something out.
